Dr. Lisa Hastings is the principal chiropractor and founder of Clear Point Wellness. She is a long-time advocate of holistic and alternative medical care as a complement to traditional medical care. Dr. Lisa brings more than 10 years of chiropractic experience and more than 20 years of professional experience to the practice. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic with honors from Life University in Atlanta, where she also worked in the research department and her Bachelor of Science in Systems Physiology from San Jose State University. Her study of systems physiology and neurophysiology provides a strong scientific foundation for her comprehensive approach to treatment and has contributed to the development of her own methods called MultiSensory Functional Integration (MSFIntegration).
In 2005 Dr. Lisa established her clinic and brought her gentle method of chiropractic to the South Austin community. Her practice developed rapidly from enthusiastic client referrals and she soon outgrew her original office space. So in 2010 she expanded by building a new wellness clinic in the shade of a 600-year-old heritage oak. Her modern building is featured inside Austin City Hall for its eco-friendly design.
In addition to her focus on preventive and wellness care, Dr. Lisa has helped many clients to overcome chronic and debilitating symptoms that would not improve from traditional medical care.
Dr. Lisa Hastings is a full member of the Texas Chiropractic Association and participates actively in the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM). She resides in the Zilker neighborhood near Barton Springs Pool with her husband Philip and son Kai.
Joining Clear Point Wellness in 2017, Dr. Jeff Luke is thrilled to be back in his hometown of Austin to share his knowledge and passion with the community. He received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with a Minor in Biology, from the University of North Texas in 2009, and returned to academia in 2014 to earn his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University in Dallas. While at Parker, Dr. Luke served as the Vice President of the Neurology Club and received the selective Clinical Excellence Award for outstanding clinical performance.
Dr. Luke’s focus is on optimizing human performance by examining and identifying instabilities in the body. With or without pain, most bodies utilize adaptation strategies to compensate for imbalances acquired from prior traumas. These imbalances can result in acute and chronic injuries. Dr. Luke uses gentle and specific techniques to correct these instabilities and increase your natural capacity to interpret and respond to your environment. This easy communication results in decreased pain, increased functionality, and improvement in your overall quality of life. With almost a decade of instructional and individual development experience, he is well suited to meet you where you are, and help you grow and heal to your optimal potential.
