Dr. Lisa Hastings is the principal chiropractor and founder of Clear Point Wellness. She is a long-time advocate of holistic and alternative medical care as a complement to traditional medical care. Dr. Lisa brings more than 10 years of chiropractic experience and more than 20 years of professional experience to the practice. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic with honors from Life University in Atlanta, where she also worked in the research department and her Bachelor of Science in Systems Physiology from San Jose State University. Her study of systems physiology and neurophysiology provides a strong scientific foundation for her comprehensive approach to treatment and has contributed to the development of her own methods called MultiSensory Functional Integration (MSFIntegration).
In 2005 Dr. Lisa established her clinic and brought her gentle method of chiropractic to the South Austin community. Her practice developed rapidly from enthusiastic client referrals and she soon outgrew her original office space. So in 2010 she expanded by building a new wellness clinic in the shade of a 600-year-old heritage oak. Her modern building is featured inside Austin City Hall for its eco-friendly design.
In addition to her focus on preventive and wellness care, Dr. Lisa has helped many clients to overcome chronic and debilitating symptoms that would not improve from traditional medical care.
Dr. Lisa Hastings is a full member of the Texas Chiropractic Association and participates actively in the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM). She resides in the Zilker neighborhood near Barton Springs Pool with her husband Philip and son Kai.
Dr. David Jones is passionate about stress reduction. His background treating children from trauma has led him to a deeper understanding of the trauma that all people face, and the effect of that trauma on the body. He works from a whole body perspective, applying his experience with digestion, neurological development, sensory development, and the nervous system to help decrease overall stress.
Dr. Jones graduated Summa Cum Laude from Life University in Atlanta, and also holds a Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry. Since graduation, he has pursued further training in many areas, becoming proficient in CranioSacral therapy, neurotransmitter analysis, Integrated Listening Systems, Trust-Based Relational Intervention, and several chiropractic techniques.
